Jerusalem Day 1

I made it to Israel!!! What a tough trip to get here.

I am in Jerusalem now and about to leave for the day.

Just wanted to post a quick photo of the hotel and the street scene out the back door.

Hilton Garden Inn: JFK Airport

Well, not the best start to the trip. My flight out of Raleigh was cancelled due to weather, so long story short, I missed my flight to Tel Aviv last night. I have no way of getting in touch with Signa, who I am traveling with, so I assume she got on the flight without me and is waiting in Israel for me to get there. Which I won't fly out until tonight at 7:55pm.

Besides being tired, and frustrated, and spending the night at an airport hotel, I'm going to miss a day of my trip and planned itinerary in Jerusalem. Thats the worst. I hope I will be able to cram it in one afternoon, but chances are I will be so tired (got into my hotel last night at 1:00am) after a 12 hour overnight flight that I will not want to do much of anything but lay down.

Hopefully things will be looking up from this point forward.
